Named among the world’s leading arbitration practices

Global Arbitration Review (GAR) has unveiled its annual ranking of the world’s leading international arbitration practices with Motieka & Audzevičius named among top 100 global leaders for the third year in a row.

GAR named our firm‘s most spectacular results for Gazprom in a long-running dispute with Lithuania’s energy ministry over a privatised natural gas provider. Another case saw it represent Lithuania’s ICOR group in an SCC dispute that ended up before the Belarusian Supreme Court.

Barton Legum of Dentons Europe, who worked with with Motieka & Audzevičius on the Gazprom dispute, praises the leader of our arbitration team Ramūnas Audzevičius as “a brilliant strategist, very responsive, thoughtful and perfectly fluent in English and in Russian”.

The GAR 100 offers advice on practices of all size from all parts of the world, all audited by GAR. It contains firms from every level of the market – country specific advice about enforcement up to the biggest ICC and ICSID cases and everything in between. It’s grown beyond the original 100 firms: there are 163 firms listed in this, the ninth edition  – and a subsection on the most active expert witness providers.
