Case against Latvian air carrier and Riga’s international airport

The former largest Lithuanian air carrying company has claimed over 57.4 million Euros in damages for abuse of a dominant position and illegal agreements restricting competition from the Latvian air carrier AirBaltic and Riga’s international airport. The defendants had requested the Court of Appeal of Lithuania to annul the ruling of Vilnius district court.

We successfully responded to the request by the defendants, and the Court of Appeal upheld the ruling of Vilnius district court in that the client (the former largest Lithuanian air carrying company) had not been obliged to pay a deposit of approximately 27.5 million Euros.
